Our goal in this project was to help WorkSafe understand how organisations and workers can better understand how the Worker Engagement, Participation and Representation (WEPR) legislation applies to them in practice. WorkSafe wanted to develop a "pledge" that would describe practical ways that organisations could implement WEPR.

We gathered insights on WEPR through a co-design workshop with key stakeholders from government organisations and unions. We used these insights to develop a prototype pledge, that we then tested through empathy conversations with employees in a variety of high risk workplaces.

We synthesised all of these insights into a revised prototype, using icons and images to convey the key themes.
